Aquagrout-Anchor Set-400 resin cartridges contains very high quality resin and its catalyst in precisely measured quantities. These two components are kept separate i.e. the catalyst is separated from the resin by an inner tube.The outer skin contains the resin and the inner tube filled with catalyst, basically floats in the encapsulated resin. The sausage shaped cartridges are designed to be inserted into the drill holes for the purpose of mining or tunnelling. The rotating bolt during insertion, punctures the outer skin of the cartridge and breaks the inner tube filled with catalyst and thus ensuring a homogeneous mixing of the catalyst and the resin. The resin catalyst mix fills the annular space between the bolt and the bore hole and holds the bolt firmly and permanently.
