Scope: It is a heavy duty anti-corrosive bituminous coating/Mastic Emulsion confirming to IS 9862/1981 with excellent water resistance and recommended for use on surfaces that are in continuous contact with water and concrete buried under soil. Other suggested uses as underbody coating for railway rolling stock, inside of pipelines carrying water, sewage pipes, treatment plants. Turbine foundation, cooling tower, chimney and structures exposed to moisture. Composition: Mastic medium with anti-corrosive pigment. Surface Preapation: Prepare the surface by chipping, scraping and wire. Brushing or power operated tools to make it free from rust and other contaminants.
